This was what I was looking for! The wolf looks so natural yet has an unique feeling to her, the design is simple and easy to use and the facial markings give off an incredible amount of power showing just what she is made of. I was honestly surprised when I carried the flats over to my existing picture to see what she would look like in my style because the outcome was simply stunning. It makes me a little sad my style fails to bring out the whole potential of the design but I have found the winning picture and the longawaited design for Keynsah.

CONTEST!
I have decided to host a contest believe it or not. The thing is I need an unique yet possible design for a wolf in my comic. I am talking about ABN Bestia. The story takes place in a new world which will appear after the destruction of this one.
~History~
At the beginning of time, the world was a vastly empty place, a desolate wasteland. Once, the world was inhabited by diabolical beings, known as humans. Over time, the humans destroyed the world, resulting in the apocalypse.
Over time, the dust left behind from the despising humans was blown away when an odd-colored comet collided with the earth. For three years, epic explosions and storms and erosion reshaped the planet.
Finally, the worldwide renaissance concluded. Life began to appear once again, but the evolution process was greatly different than the first time life began to grow.
Two beings were first born, Anekorante, the eldest of the shamans, along with a watercat, named Iaelah, a spirit of the water. Their friendship grew and found their new world pleasurably peaceful, for the time being. Their powers were phenomenal. Iaelah was a powerful oracle, and was given the power to control time and space.
Anekorante was wondering around the lands and found a desolate area after traveling through a vast valley, surrounded by many physical features of nature. The big ocean was located in the west, protected by glaciers in the northwest, and mountains in the north, an impenetrable brush towards the east, with a valley in the south and then a wasteland in the southwest. The wasteland resembled the evils of the beings once known was humans.
Live continued forward, as the landscape eroded. An enormous dragon had died, and its bones severe as a gateway bridge across the southern valley into the valley of death. Many fear of that cursed region.
Eventually, more species were born and lived amongst each other. Resources needed for survival eventually became vast, as greed and envy developed within the beings’ minds. Devastation was forecasted to come again.
Anekorante wasn’t too fond of what was becoming of the newer world. Somehow, he was able to cast charms, enabling everybody to make their one food. Everything was luxurious for a short amount of time, but everything changed when the behaviors of many severely worsened.

~The Story~
The story evolves around a black leopard who gets contacted by one of the three shamans Fose
and the watercat Iaelah and is brought to the future and is shown what is about to happen, then it is his time to help Fose find the missing shaman Efeon who is needed to save the world from destruction. Kefen then sets out to find him and gets help from an arctic fox and a cheetah who will travel with him. His childhood friend who had always looked over him will follow him shortly after.
~What I Need~
So basically what I need is a design for the female wolf Keynsah who is Kefen's childhood friend.
I need an unique design yet it cannot have something that could not happen in the nature, it has to look as natural as possible but yet look unique.

~Judging and Deadline~
I will mostly be judging the entry by the design, it helps the design if its done beautifully but what I am looking for is the design I want to use. Why am I not designing her myself? Because I can't seem to come up with something that satisfies me, that is why I am asking for help.

I was just looking through deviantART when I came upon
whose art is simply stunning. That style is incredible! Even though my feature will not help much I think this artist needs alot more attention considering all those amazing masterpieces.

So I quit school (again) and am looking for a job right now. Even though you could say my life is going downhill, quitting school somehow made me feel free and erased a big part of my artblock. So hopefully I will be able to finish drawings that I need to finish now. I've yet again started my journey of finding my style, hopefully I will one day find it and can finally settle down. I have 3 projects I REALLY want to start, but just don't have the skill for. One of them being Kunargy a novel which I want to turn in a comic/manga/something. I messed up big time with the start of Ballroom Shinigami as it was supposed to be a manga, but I used what I hope to be Kunargy's style for it. So I'm going to have to redo Ballroom Shinigami (I only made it to 1.5 pages so doesn't really matter though). Both stories aren't really that special, quite ordinary typical storylines actually, but somehow they have grown on me and I really want to share them with the world (even if the world doesnt want to see them) So basically what I did was. I joined
which will hopefully help me learn manga/anime style and everything that goes along with it, so when I finally get better at it I'm going to start Ballroom Shinigami. ABN Bestia is on a standstill right now. It's an animal comic nothing rare about it, another typical storyline and its probably gonna be like alot of the dA comics here are (only slightly worse). And it will have to wait until I get the story together as I started to make changes to it. I know most of you hear of these projects for the first time, but the truth is I've been working on them for quite some time now. And ABN Bestia's roots are even somewhere around 2006 when I started to write a book called ABN Virtua (which I never finished). Ok so the conclusion to this is that I will hopefully be starting on Kunargy soon, it's gonna suck bigtime at the start and I don't even know if I have the patience to finish the prologue chapter, but I am going to give it a try. Ofcourse I am mot likely going to have the most problems with backgrounds, I hope you will forgive me.
When I finally start it I will let you know, the page I'm going to upload it to is

You know what? It's going to be my dA one year anniversary soon (tomorrow). So basically what happened was that I started to draw digital again one year ago. Before that I drew digital about 6 years ago but forgot all about it, did rare photomanipulations but didn't draw, but one year ago I started to draw again. That changed my life for the better. Art really is a part of me and I can't understand how I could have neglected it for so long.
I think I've come a long way since then. Some examples:

Somehow evening mist gets all the attention, even though it's been so long after I drew it it still gets faves although my other works get favved only when they get uploaded. No I'm not unhappy in the slightest, the attention, I like that. But I'm just wondering why that picture, not any other. None of my other pictures get that kind of exposure and to myself the picture itself seems average, perhaps someone could explain to me as why that picture is special, if you can figure it out. Cause I sure can't...

I FINALLY GOT A TABLET! I am unimaginably happy! Im so happy I'm about to explode!!!
From now on I can finally start testing styles I could not try before, draw things that would have been impossible before. And hopefully I can get alot better on drawing!!!

Commissions
I am mostly good at drawing wolves. But if needed I am sure I could draw anything.
I am not so good at drawing backgrounds, humans and clothing.
Well then...
A simple character with no background 9$, 3$ per extra character.
Ex:
I would take 5$ upfront and the rest when done. +1$ per extra character upfront.
A character with background 10-12$ depending on complexity of the environment, 4$ per extra character.
Ex:
I would take 5$ upfront and the rest when done. +2$ per extra character upfront.
I am willing to do fixes if it is within reasonable limits. But I expect you to know what kind of quality you will get from me when you decide to commission me.
I will take myself the right to turn down a commission or give you back your money if I find the task to be too difficult in the midway. (Doesn't automatically mean I would do it)
The reason the prices are set like this is because with no background there is no interaction with the environment making my life somewhat easier.
I am flexible with what I draw so you can ask me if there is something on your mind. If what I need to draw is new to me, then you need to consider it will take me some time to study the anatomy and whatnot. I am a person who does not use references, I tend to study what I am drawing to the point where I can draw it without needing any references.
If you need unfinished artwork from me (such as sketches or just laid down colors), I can possibly do that, but you would need to take in consideration that I work with a mouse.
I guess I will need to update it if there is something left out.
Please do take in consideration I have never done any commissions before so this is new to me.
